Our process

You'll know what's being built, what it costs, and when it lands.

No open ended hourly arrangements, no scope creep invoices, no reveal at the end that looks nothing like the conversation you had. Five stages, fixed prices, clear outputs.

01

Discovery — the Systems Audit

1 to 2 weeks

We sit down with the people who actually do the work and map how a job moves from first enquiry to final invoice. Every platform, every handoff, every place someone re-types something that already exists somewhere else.

What you get

  • Current state map of systems and data flow
  • Quantified cost of the gaps in hours and dollars
  • Prioritised list of the highest leverage fixes
  • Clear recommendation on what to build, connect or retire
02

Blueprint — the written plan

1 to 2 weeks

Before anyone writes code you get a document: what gets built, how it connects, in what order, over what timeframe, at what cost. Phased so you can stop, pause or reprioritise between stages.

What you get

  • Fixed scope and fixed price per phase
  • Technical architecture and integration plan
  • Delivery timeline with checkpoints
  • Assumptions and dependencies stated up front
03

Build — in phases, with checkpoints

2 to 12 weeks per phase

Development runs in short cycles with something usable at the end of each one. Security is the first check at every checkpoint, not the last one before launch.

What you get

  • Working checkpoints you can use and comment on
  • Security review each phase: access control, encryption, validation, logging
  • Change requests priced before they're actioned
  • Testing across desktop, tablet and mobile
04

Deploy & train — the handover

1 to 2 weeks

Data migration, final testing and rollout, then training for the people who'll use it daily. You get documentation written for your team, not for developers.

What you get

  • Migration and go live with a rollback plan
  • Pre-launch security and dependency scan, plus tested backup restore
  • Team training sessions, recorded
  • Written documentation and admin guides
  • All accounts, code and data in your name
05

Optimise — after go live

Ongoing, optional

Systems drift. Platforms change their APIs, teams change how they work, volumes grow. We stay available for monitoring, adjustments and the next phase, with real usage data behind the decisions.

What you get

  • Support and monitoring options
  • Performance and usage reporting
  • Iteration based on how it's actually used
  • Roadmap for the next phase of work

Stage one is the Systems Audit.

It stands on its own. You get a written plan you can act on, with us or with anyone else.
