iOS & Android App Development

Mobile apps for customers, and for the people who run your business.

Native and cross platform applications for iOS and Android. Designed, built, submitted, maintained. From customer facing apps through to internal field tools that work without signal.

When a business needs an app

Not every business needs one. We'll say so if yours doesn't.

You need a mobile app when one of these is true:

Your team works away from a desk

Technicians, drivers, pilots, inspectors, nurses, agents. A mobile tool that captures work at the point it happens removes an entire administrative step.

Your customers interact with you repeatedly

Bookings, orders, memberships, accounts, service requests. Repeat interaction is where an app beats a website.

You need device capability the web can't reach

Offline access, push notifications, camera and scanning, GPS, background sync, biometric login, wallet integration.

You need to hold attention

A home screen icon and push notifications are a direct channel to your customer that no algorithm sits in front of.

What we build

Customer apps

Booking, ordering, account management, loyalty, memberships, service requests and support, with payments and push notifications built in.

Field and workforce apps

Job dispatch, mobile forms, photo and signature capture, checklists, time tracking, GPS and offline first operation for areas with no coverage.

Internal operations apps

Approvals, inventory, asset scanning, compliance logging and real time reporting for the team.

Portal and companion apps

A mobile layer over the systems you already run, giving staff and clients access to what matters without a laptop.

Technology approach

We recommend based on your requirements and budget, and we explain the tradeoff in plain terms rather than defaulting to whatever is most profitable to build.

Cross platform (React Native or Flutter)

For most projects. One codebase, both platforms, meaningfully lower cost to build and maintain, with performance that is indistinguishable for the large majority of business applications.

Native (Swift and Kotlin)

Where a project genuinely needs it: heavy device integration, demanding graphics or performance, or platform specific capability.

What's included

  • Product definition and user flow design
  • UI design against Apple Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design
  • Development with staged testing builds you can install and use
  • Backend, API and integration with your existing systems
  • Push notification infrastructure
  • Offline capability and sync where required
  • In app payments and subscription setup where required
  • Apple App Store and Google Play submission, including account setup and review management
  • Analytics and crash reporting
  • Post launch maintenance, OS version updates and iteration

On timelines and cost

A focused internal tool typically runs 8 to 12 weeks. A full customer facing app with payments and integrations typically runs 12 to 20 weeks. We scope in phases so you get a working version early rather than waiting for everything.

We also build the maintenance plan into the proposal. Apple and Google release major OS updates annually, and an unmaintained app breaks. Anyone quoting you a build without a maintenance conversation is setting you up for a problem in year two.

Security first

iOS & Android App Development, built secure first.

Security is our number one cadence. Every build in this service line ships with access control, encryption, validated inputs, audit logging and tested backups designed in from the start.

Security is the first design decision

Before features, we decide who can see what, where data lives, and how access is proven. Permissions, roles and data boundaries are specified in the blueprint, not patched in after launch.

Encrypted, least privilege by default

Data encrypted in transit and at rest, row level access rules, scoped API keys, secrets stored in managed vaults, and no shared logins. Every account gets the minimum access it needs and nothing more.

Hardened before handover

Input validation, rate limiting, audit logging, automated backups and tested restores, plus a security review and dependency scan on every build before it goes live.

Australian privacy obligations respected

We treat client, patient and matter data as sensitive by default: documented data flows, retention rules, and no unnecessary copies floating around in spreadsheets or inboxes.
